Vishwa Shanthi rally held in city

Mysuru:  The members of Jain community, under the guidance of Sri Sumathinath Jain Moorthypujak Sangh, had organised ‘Vishwa Shanthi’ rally under the leadership of Param Pujya Acharya Sri Ratnasensuriji Marasaheb in city recently.

The rally with those conducting fast and seated in decorated vehicles was flagged off from Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple, which passed through Palace, Ashoka Road, Lashkar Police Station Cross, Halladkeri, Suvidhinathji Jain Temple and Sumathinathji Jain Temple culminated at Mahavir Bhawan on Chandragupta Road.

More than 3,500 people participated in the rally. The sequence of this Vishva Shanthi  rally was headed with rows of 15 two-wheelers, followed by decorated vehicles, band set, horses, Bhagawan ratha, all five Mahila Mandal’s, all Balika Mandal’s and others participated in the procession giving the message of Vishwa Shanthi.

Before the commencement of the rally, flag was hoisted by Sangh President Ashok Kumarji Jain near Mysore Palace and the rally was managed by Sri Sumathinath Jain Navyuvak Mandal headed by its President Pravin Jain with a 221 member strong team.
