Mysore/Mysuru: South Western Railway (SWR), Hubballi, has taken a step to enhance passenger safety and comfort by replacing conventional ICF coaches with modern LHB coaches for Train No. 20676/20675 Mysuru-Belagavi-Mysuru Vishwamanav Superfast Express.
The revised composition will come into effect from 26.4.2026 from Mysuru and from 27.4.2026 from Belagavi.
At present, the train operates with 21 conventional ICF coaches. It will now run with a total of 20 LHB coaches, comprising one AC Chair Car, 12 General Class coaches, five Second Seating Chair Cars, one Brake, Luggage and Generator Car and one Second Class Luggage-cum-Brake Van with Divyang-friendly compartment.
These LHB coaches will provide improved safety, better comfort and enhanced passenger amenities, according to Dr. Manjunath Kanamadi, Chief Public Relations Officer, SWR.
