‘Vishwamanava’ Award for Tarini Chidananda Gowda

Savithramma Dejagow Award for Nandini Jayaram; H.K. Veerannagowda Journalism Award for Dr. N. Jagadish Koppa

Mysuru, Dec.20 (US)- Kuvempu’s daughter and writer Tarini Chidananda Gowda has been selected for ‘Vishwamanava Award-2017’ instituted by Dejagow Trust. It carries a cash prize of Rs. 25,000. Farmer activist K.H. Nandini Jayaram has been selected for ‘Savithramma Dejagow Award-2017’ which carries a cash prize of Rs. 20,000.

Udaya TV Reporter Dr. N. Jagadish Koppa has been selected for ‘Late H.K. Veerannagowda Journalism Award’ instituted by Kuvempu Vidyavardhaka Trust.

These awards will be presented on Dec.31 at 4 pm during Kuvempu birth anniversary celebrations, according to Dejagow Trust President Dr. J. Shashidar Prasad.
