Mysuru: Vid. Aditya K. Ravidas, a B.Tech. student and a highly promising vocalist from Bengaluru, will be presenting a vocal concert at the residence of Mysore Vasudevacharya in city on July 19 at 10.30 am.

He will be accompanied by Vid. S. Abhinav Iyengar on violin and Vid. G. Pranav Vidhyarth on mridanga.

Aditya, a vocalist and a violinist, is an upcoming artiste with experience across concerts, ensemble collaborations, teaching and competitive recognition. He is a disciple of Vidu. Anahita Ravindran on vocal music and is associated with ‘SaPa’ (Subramaniam Academy of Performing Arts) since the age of six under the tutelage of Dr. Ambi Subramaniam. He now serves as a faculty member at SaPa, teaching violin to students globally.

He is a recipient of the Clef Music Award for Best Violinist – Emerging Artist in two consecutive years. He is associated with an NGO through music-for-healing initiatives and multiple fundraising concerts in support of Cytecare Cancer Institute.

Abhinav has been learning violin for the past 13 years, starting under Vid. S.V.  Ramachandra and later from Dr. Ambi Subramaniam. He has also learnt vocal under Lakshmi Sateesh and Vid. N.S. Abhishek. He has won several awards  and has performed at several respected sabhas and festivals. He is also teaching violin at SaPa.

Vid. Pranav is a passionate student of mridanga, first under Vid. Bangalore Narendra and currently learning under Vid. Delhi Sairam. He has been continuously performing since the age of 14 in Bengaluru.
