Mysore/Mysuru: Vid. Vishwas Negiloni will be presenting a vocal concert at the residence of Mysore Vasudevacharya near Agrahara in the city on Nov.9.
He will be accompanied by Vidu. Mysore Amritavarshini Bhargava on violin and Vid. Raghunandan Bhargava on mridanga. The concert, scheduled to start at 10.30 am, is open to all music lovers.

Hailing from a family of musicians, Vid. Vishwas Negiloni completed M.A. in Music from Srividya University. He learnt Karnatak music from Vidu. K.R. Shantha, Vid. D.N. Gurudatt, Prof. T.S. Rama and had special training from Vid. N.S. Krishna Prasad on tala aspects.
He has also learnt Bhavageetha from legendary C. Ashwath and has performed with the legend himself. Vid. Vishwas has performed concerts in several sabhas over the State.
Currently he runs ‘Sri Sadguru Sangeetha Shale’ in Bengaluru, through which he is teaching many talented youngsters.
He is also a ‘vaggeyakara’, with many compositions in Kannada, Telugu and Sanskrit to his credit.
Daughter of musicians Srigowri Bhargava and Vid. Mysore V. Ambaprasad, Vidu. Amrithavarshini is an upcoming musician. Having learnt music under Vid. Ambaprasad, she has been performing on violin for accompaniment and also giving solo, duet and trio programmes.
She is learning Hindustani music from Vidu. Sharada Bhat Kattige and performs Karnatak Vocal, Hindustani Vocal concerts too.
Having been trained under Prof. G.S. Ramanujan and Vid. Anooru Ananthakrishna Sharma, Vid. Raghunandan is an M.A. in Music. A graded artiste of Akashvani, he has been performing concerts for over two decades.
He has worked as a faculty member at Music University and has been teaching students at all levels through his school Vishvambhara Nadalaya.
