Vocal concert & Harikatha programme on July 18, 19

Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Krishna Ganasabha, Mysuru, will be celebrating the 106th birth anniversary of Sri Jayachamaraja Wadiyar and 231st birth anniversary of Sri Mummadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar with a vocal concert and a harikatha programme at Alwar Kala Bhavana, Sri Krishna Temple Complex, Gokulam III Stage, in city on July 18 and 19 respectively.

July 18 (6 pm): Malavalli Sri Manteswamy Mutt, Adi Honnayakanahalli Mutt and Sri Kappadi Mutt Seer M.L. Varchasvi Srikanta Siddalinga Raje Urs will be the chief guest. Sri Krishna Ganasabha President B.S. Sridhara Raje Urs will preside.

Vocal concert will be by Vid. Manasa Nayana, accompa nied by Vid. H.L. Shivashankar Swamy on mridanga, Vidu. C.V. Shruthi on violin and Vid. S. Manjunath on ghata.

July 19 (6 pm): Harikatha ‘Srikrishna Vaibhavam’ by AIR & Doordarshan Artiste Seetharam Munikoti accompanied by Vid. Varadarajan. Keyboard support is by Vid. Shivaprasanth, according to a press release from Sri Krishna Ganasabha.
