Vocational training for youths at CIPET

Central Institute of Petro-chemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET) and Centre for Skilling and Technical Support (CSTS) have invited applications from unemployed youths (both men and women) under the Employment Guarantee Scheme (EGS) to avail free vocational training.

CIPET is also providing academia / educational training in human resources for the country’s Polymer/ Petrochemicals/ Plastics Industrial sector. Beneficiaries belonging to the State with the qualification of 8th / 10th /PUC /ITI /JOC /DIPLOMA /B.E/ or any Degree (Pass / Fail) are eligible to apply.

Under various professional /trade Scheme, CIPET provides a three and six-months training in advanced/ modern manufacturing technology and recycling of polymer or plastic materials in the disciplines of automobile, agriculture, health, education, transport / electronics etc. Free assistance will be provided for food and accommodation during the training period. Beneficiaries may avail job opportunities after completing the training.

Interested candidates may meet the concerned person directly to enrol for the course at the Office of CIPET, 437/A, Hebbal Industrial Area, Mysuru with copies of marks card, Caste & Income Certificate, Aadhaar card, six passport size photos and related documents.
