Volvo service to Mandakalli Airport: A suggestion

August 21, 2019

Sir,

This refers to the news item titled “Volvo service to Mandakalli Airport” (Star of Mysore dated Aug.16). I doubt if the City Bus Stand (CBS)is the right place for pick up and drop because it will serve only passengers residing nearby.

Imagine the plight of people from Dattagalli or Hinkal or JP Nagar — the distance would be three-fourths of the distance to the Mysore Airport, and waiting with baggage at the crowded, congested bus stand would be an ordeal. A place like Ramaswamy Circle would be a better choice.
