‘Voters should ask questions to candidates during campaign’

May 9, 2018

Mysuru: “Voters should ask plenty of questions to candidates during election campaigning instead of remaining silent” asserted Sridhar, Member of Federation of Mysore City Corporation Wards Parliament.

He was addressing a press meet at Pathrakarthara Bhavan this morning.

Sridhar pointed out that burning issues like cleanliness, waste treatment plants, housing, tourism, heritage structures, water distribution, environment protection, women empowerment, transport problems    and so on were plaguing the city and society.

He hence asked the voters to question the candidates who come for election campaigning about the remedial measures for the issues. He regretted that voters’ silence would just allow the burning issues to go dormant and resurface again. He averred that an awareness in that  angle was equally vital for a voter.

Federation members K.B. Basavegowda, Nagaraj, Naghabhushan, Kempalingaiah, Mangala and others were present at the press meet.
