CAR constable ends life

Mysuru: CAR Constable Ravikumar (44) committed suicide early this morning on Chamundi Hill.

A resident of Jalapuri Quarters, Ravikumar leaves behind his wife Nagaratna, a conductor in KSRTC.

He was posted along with two other Constables to guard the ‘Repeater’ tower which is located midway to the top of Chamundi Hill.

This morning, while two of his associates went for a stroll, he stayed back. When they returned to the spot, they found him missing.

As they looked around they found him hanging from a nearby tower. It is learnt that he was suffering from some health issues and hence took the extreme step.  

On receiving information, K.R. Police rushed to the spot and conducted mazhar.

The body was shifted to Mysore Medical College and Research Institute (MMC&RI) mortuary for post-mortem.
