M. Rakesh has been awarded Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering Sciences by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) for his thesis “Fabrication & Performance Evaluation of PVDF Polymer Based Composites for Sensor Applications” submitted under the guidance of  Dr. B.R. Narendra Babu.
