Mysore/Mysuru: On the occasion of World Mental Health Day 2023, Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru, has organised of a 5K Yogic Walkathon event tomorrow (Oct. 12) starting from the College premises at 6 am.

International Yoga Expert Dr. Raghavendra Pai of Adhyatma Yoga Academy will be the guest of honour. TriYoga International Founder Yogini Kaliji will be the chief guest.

The event is designed to raise awareness about mental health and aims to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health issues within our society. This initiative encourages students and members of the public to come together and be a part of this vital awareness programme.

Mental health is a critical aspect of overall well-being and it affects millions of people worldwide. Despite its prevalence, there is still a significant lack of understanding and acceptance when it comes to mental health issues.

This Walkathon seeks to shed light on the importance of mental health while emphasising the positive impact that physical activity, such as walking, can have on mental well-being.
