Wadiyar Rajyotsava Award conferment on Nov.30

Anveshana Seva Trust, Mysuru, will confer Wadiyar Rajyotsava Award on achievers from various fields at a programme to take place at Vijnana Bhavan, Manasagangothri, at 11 am on Nov. 30. MLA L. Nagendra will inaugurate the programme. University of Mysore (UoM) Vice-Chancellor Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar will preside. Former UoM and KSOU VC Prof. K.S. Rangappa will confer the award. MCDCC Bank President G.D. Harish Gowda, Mahalakshmi Charitable Trust President Shivakumar and Anveshana Trust President Dr. M.G.R. Urs will be the chief guests.

Awardees: Mysore University’s DoS in Physics Chairman Prof. N.K. Lokanath, Chamundi Hill Temple Chief Priest Dr. N. Shashishekar Dixit, social worker M. Lalithakumar Kothari, Suman Society Co-ordinator Alice Joseph, Elai Higher Primary School Secretary Mohammad Nasrulla and National and State Best Teacher Award winner Dr. P.B. Indukala Urs.
