Mysuru: Welcoming the decision of the State Government in waiving off farm loans advanced by Co-operative Banks, members of Siddharamaiah Abhimani Balaga had organised a procession of bullock carts in city on Friday.

The bullock carts were lined up in front of Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple here with a banner carrying a portrait of Siddharamaiah in each cart. The procession passed through Chamaraja Wadiyar Circle and returned to the starting point. Sweets were distributed to the public.

The members said that the decision of the Government would bring a great relief for farmers.

Balaga President Hinkal Prakash, office-bearers Uday and others were present.
