Walkathon to mark World Women’s Day tomorrow

The Women’s Cell of St. Philomena’s College, Mysuru, has organised a Walkathon tomorrow (Mar.8) on the occasion of World Women’s Day. The Walkathon will be flagged off at 6.30 am from Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple, Palace North Gate, and pass through major streets of the city before culminating at St. Philomena’s College. The Walkathon will be inaugurated by K.C. Divyashree, Chief Superintendent, Central Prison, Mysuru. Rector/Manager Rev. Fr. Dr. Bernard Prakash Barnis, Vice-Rector Rev. Fr. Maria Xavier, Campus Administrator Rev. Fr. Roxan Thomas Baros, College Principal Dr. Ruth Shanthakumari, Vice-Principal Prof. Vidhyadhar Sanjay Nair, other faculty members and students will be present, according to a press release.
