Weekend concerts at Nadabrahma

Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha, after cancelling the programmes last month due to weekend curfews, has organised the following concerts at its premises on JLB Road here from Feb. 18 to 20 at 6 pm:

Feb. 18: Vid. P. Guruprasad from Srirangapatna will perform on Saxophone for T.V. Alamelu Birthday Memorial Concert sponsored by Dr. Meera V. Nathan.

Guruprasad will be accompanied by Tumkur Yashasvi on violin, Vikram Bharadwaj on mridanga and T.N. Ajaykumar on ghata.

Feb. 19: Madhuri Kaushik from Bengaluru will give a vocal concert for Smt. Rukmini Ammal & Sri Ramaswamy Iyengar Memorial Concert sponsored by their children.

She will be accompanied by Krithik Kaushik on violin, Pavan Madhav Masur on mridanga and S. Manjunath on ghata.

Feb. 20: S.R. Vinay Sharva will present a Karnatak Classical Vocal Concert for B.M. Subbanna Memorial Concert of Bellur Foundation.

He will be accompanied by Sindu Suchetan on violin, B.S. Prashanth on mridanga and S. Sharath Kaushik on ghata.
