Mysuru: Bharatanatyam, the classical dance recital by C.N. Anita, the renowned Bharatanatyam dancer and Guru of Nritya Vidya Peeta, Mysuru, was held at Veene Seshanna Bhavana in city recently.

The programme, dedicated in memory of Swarna Murthy V.N. Rao, was well-received by the audience.

The artiste performed for almost two hours with a few small breaks in between.

She was supported by Vid.Rakesh Sudheeer on vocal, Vid. Tumkur B. Shashishankar on mridanga, Vid. A.B.Krishna Prasad on flute and Nayana Shivaram on natuvanga.

At the end, T.S. Venugopal, Secretary, Ganabharathi, felicitated Anita as a token of appreciation, for her graceful performance.
