Wg. Cdr. (retd.) S.C. Balasubramanyam (82), Committee Member of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB), Mysuru Kendra and a resident of Kuvempunagar, passed away in the wee hours of today at a private hospital in city.

He had earlier served as the Administrative Officer at BVB, Mysuru. He is survived by his wife Dr. Meera, daughters Priya and Rashmi, sons-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites will be held tomorrow at 9.30 am at the foot of Chamundi Hill, according to family sources.

Condoles: BVB Mysuru Chairman K.B. Ganapathy, Hon. Secretary P.S. Ganapathy and other office-bearers have condoled the demise of Balasubramanyam.
