Why no illumination on N.S. Road for Dasara?

September 24, 2024

Sir,

The busy Narayana Shastri (N.S.) Road is one of the oldest roads in Mysuru, yet it never gets illuminated for Dasara. While some Circles are illuminated, the full stretch of N.S. Road, from Vidyaranyapuram and Chamundipuram to Devaraj Urs Road, remains neglected.

Why is there such disparity in Dasara illumination for one of the city’s oldest roads? At least this year, could CESC make arrangements to illuminate the entire stretch of N.S. Road?
