Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of Information and Public Relations stall at the Dasara Exhibition has garnered significant attention for its wide publicity of the five guarantees offered by the State Government.

Chief Minister Siddharamaiah himself expressed his appreciation for the stall, which is also drawing interest from the general public. The CM commended the Department’s officials for effectively conveying the government’s programmes to the public.

The Information Department volunteers are not only providing statistics regarding the beneficiaries of the five guarantees (Annabhagya, Gruhajyoti, Shakti, Gruhalakshmi, and Yuvanidhi), but they are also raising awareness about the registration process to avail of these guarantees.

Furthermore, the stall offers information about the first book in Kannada, the first Kannada poem, the first Kannada film, the first Kannada poet, the first Kannada author, the first Sharana (saint-poet), as well as highlights the contributions of Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar. It also provides details about Kannadigas who have been honoured with Bharata Ratna.
