Bengaluru: Young singer Hanumantha Lamani was crowned as the winner of Bigg Boss Kannada Season 11. He claimed the coveted trophy and walked home with Rs. 50 lakh cash prize. Trivikram was declared the first runner-up and Rajath, the second runner-up of Bigg Boss Season 11.
Hanumantha became the first-ever wild card entrant to win the show in its 11-season history. Hanumantha received a record-breaking 5,23,89,318 votes, while runner-up Trivikram got 2,53,12,518 votes. He had also won the direct ‘Ticket to Finale’ after a task, which secured his spot in the final round.
There were five top contestants including Trivikram, Hanumantha Lamani, Mokshitha Pai, Ugramm Manju and Rajath Kishan.
Hanumantha added a special touch to the finale by giving a heartfelt musical rendition. When the grand finale was just hours away, Mokshitha stood as the only female finalist this season. But she was eliminated, followed by Ugram Manju.
Kiccha Sudeep, the face of Bigg Boss Kannada, hosted the season for over a decade. Sudeep had earlier announced that this will be his final season as the show’s host.
Sudeep’s father, M. Sanjeev, was also present at the finale show to support his son. He was sitting among the audience. He was introduced by music composer Yogaraj Bhat.
