Wild cat kittens rescued

Mysuru: The Forest Department personnel, along with the villagers, have rescued two wild cat kittens from a sugarcane field at Kuppe village in T. Narasipur taluk on Sunday night.

Sugarcane was harvested in the field of one Jayaramu on Saturday during which the workers found two kittens which resembles like leopard cubs and informed the Forest Department authorities.

T. Narasipur DRF Umesh rushed to the spot and on seeing the kittens he informed the villagers that they were not leopard cubs but they were wild cat kittens.

Forest Department personnel, who took the kittens into   custody, fed them and are taking care of them.
