Wild encounter with Bear

January 30, 2020

NOT SLOTH AT ALL: A sloth bear with a thick, shaggy coat of fur is seen using the bark of a tree to scratch its itching back inside the Nagarahole National Park last evening.

The Park, with tall grasslands and dense forest cover, is an ideal place for bear habitat.

As photographers clicked with their cameras, the furry animal walked towards a pond to quench its thirst, staring at the shutterbugs at frequent intervals.
