Wildlife Week: Nature walk conducted at Karanji Lake

Mysore/Mysuru:  As part of Wildlife Week, Mysuru Zoo had organised a Nature Walk at Karanji Lake Nature Park in the city this morning.

Over 150 people including students, nature lovers and others took part in the Nature Walk between 7.30 am and 8.30 am, during which Deputy Range Forest Officer (DRFO) Manjunath and Zoo Education Officers explained about the plants, trees, birds and butterflies at the Lake.

The participants were provided with all necessary information about nature, its conservation and protection, ill effects of deforestation, etc., during which exchange of knowledge and information took place.
