Mysore/Mysuru: Replying to media queries in Mysuru this morning about Congress’ five poll guarantees, MP Pratap Simha said: “Chief Minister Siddharamaiah, who harps on implementing the schemes at any cost, must first explain about source of funds.”

“Is it Congress culture to swindle people to give freebies? Will CM Siddharamaiah, Dy.CM D.K. Shivakumar,  Energy Minister K.J. Geroge and Large & Medium Industries Minister M.B. Patil sell their own assets to implement guarantees?” asked Simha.

“The CM should first release a white letter on debts. Moreover, being the CM who has so far tabled 13 budgets, Siddu is not coming out with details on the mobilisation of funds, but has been misleading people which should be stopped,” he added.

Hike in toll on Expressway

Defending that the hike in toll on 10-lane Mysuru-Bengaluru Expressway was in compliance with new financial year, MP Simha dared Chief Minister Siddharamaiah to make the Highway toll-free if he was not okay with it. “Pay the funds brought from bank to build the Expressway and make it toll-free,” said Simha.
