In addition to the suggestions made by R. Chandra Prakash in his article titled “How Railways can help ease traffic problem in CBD” (SOM dated Dec.4), I have one more suggestion.

The vacant space towards the Southern side of the City Railway Station belonging to Congress Party can be handed over to Railways. It is very close to the rail track and will be very useful for extending the platforms.

The Congress can have a much bigger site elsewhere in the city for constructing their Party Office building.  If the Congress constructs a building here, the party activities, especially whenever a leader visits Mysuru, will cause untold miseries to the general public. Citizens of Mysuru will certainly appreciate Congress Party for this gesture, if implemented.
