Will convince CM about plans for Mysuru: NAREDCO President

June 2, 2023

Mysore/Mysuru: President of National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO), Mysuru chapter, T.G. Adisheshan Gowda has emphasised the importance of continuous development in Mysuru, regardless of which Government is in power.

Change in Government is a normal process in a democracy but development works are continuous, he said.

Speaking at the Annual General Body meeting of the NAREDCO Mysuru chapter, Adisheshan Gowda inaugurated an interaction programme on technology as part of the second edition of the ‘Brand Mysuru Plan’ at Hotel Southern Star in the city recently.

He highlighted the achievements of Mysuru, stating that unlike Bengaluru, where the Outer Ring Road (ORR) works are still incomplete, Mysuru has successfully completed the ORR, which is a matter of pride for the city. He stressed that Mysuru’s development is possible with a clear vision and NAREDCO will exert pressure on the Government to ensure overall progress through its ‘Brand Mysuru Plan.’

Regarding the recent change in Government from BJP to Congress, Adisheshan Gowda emphasised that regardless of the ruling party, it is essential to continue advocating for the development of Mysuru. NAREDCO, consisting of builders, developers and technical professionals, aims to draw attention to significant projects and work towards advancing the city.

He emphasised that Mysuru should follow in the footsteps of Bengaluru, which is located 120 kms away. He mentioned that NAREDCO is ready to provide the necessary support and has plans for development in various fields shortly, pending consent from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).

Praising the ‘Make in India’ concept introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he acknowledged its positive impact on foreign exchange, self-reliance and the country’s economic conditions. He mentioned that the GDP had reached 10 percent and the number of tax-payers has increased under the GST regime, contributing to India’s journey toward becoming a five trillion dollar economy, as envisioned by PM Modi.

The event comprised two sessions, with Adisheshan Gowda speaking on ‘technology’ in the first session and various experts sharing information about their respective domains in the second session.

Chairman of Confederation of Real Estate Development Association of India (CREDAI) Srihari Dwarakanath, Vice-Chairman of NAREDCO, Mysuru, V.C. Ravikumar, Secretary M.L. Nagendra and Joint Secretary G.K. Sudheendra were present.
