Mysuru: Senior Congress leader Adagur H. Vishwanath has officially announced that he will be quitting the grand old party within a week. “I will not stay in Chief Minister Siddharamaiah’s Congress anymore and I will quit before Ramzan,” he announced at meeting of supporters held at Hotel Siddhartha this morning.
He, however, did not spell out the name of the party which he will be joining after he moves out of Congress.
Addressing the gathering, Vishwanath said it was painful to leave Congress after a long 43-year association.
“The party that was built by stalwarts like Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi is in Siddharamaiah’s clutches.
Sir,
Do we really need a running commentary on when this former congress MP is going to resign? This is not news. Let us hear about it after he quits. Please do not bore us with his saga!
