The students of JSS Public School, Siddarthanagar, won 23 prizes at the Sports Meet at Suttur recently. They won these prizes competing against 66 High Schools and 23 Intermediate Schools.

Rashida Aiyman Ansari of VII won Individual Championship (G) in the Junior Category.

Mourya Ganapathy won first place in shot-put and created a new record by  throwing  the shot-put to a distance of 11 mts. He won the first place in the discus-throw and created a record of 34.4mts.

Laksh Bharadwaj of VII came first in the 100 mts running and II in 200 mts running.

In the relay, the senior boys comprising S. Sanjith, Vivin Francis, Jeevan and S. Sohan and Junior girls, comprising Rashida Aiyaman Ansari, Manaswini, Taneesha and Lahari, won the II place.
