C.S. Darshini and B.S. Priya, students of Gangothri Public School located on Bogadi Main Road, Manasagangothri, in city, won first place in the District-level Karate competition organised in city under the aegis of the Department of Public Instruction and are selected to the State-level competition.

Harish of the School secured 3rd Place in the Taluk-level Chess Competition held at JSS High School in city under the aegis of the Department of Field Education and is selected to the District level.

Both the contests were held for the students the age group of  14 to 17 years.
