Mysuru: Smt. H.S.Gangamma and Smt. B.R.Kaveramma Inter-High School English essay writing competition was  held at CFTRI School here recently on the topic “Importance of discipline in life.” The winners are: G.N. Tanvi –  I prize (CFTRI School); Shreeja Basappa –  II prize (Acharya Vidyakula).

The prize winners will be awarded cash prize on Dec. 13 at Kalamandira.

Debate competition

CFTRI Alumni Association conducted Prof. J.H. Hulse Memorial Intra-Primary English debate competition  on the topic “Being underweight is just as dangerous as being overweight” at CFTRI School on  Dec. 1.  The judges for the above competition were M.P. Jiji, Sadia Shifa and  Jyothi Athanikar.

B.V. Manjunatha, Vice Principal and Chairperson K. Blessy Johnson were present.

The winners are: N. Sathvik – Best speaker (Boy); Siddiqua Khanum –   Best speaker (Girl),  according to a press release from Anuradha Prakash, Principal.
