Mysuru: The Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Mysuru Centre, had organised Women Empowerment Programme recently.

Around 80 students from various Engineering Colleges in and around Mysuru participated in Technical Quiz, Debate Competition and Short Movie Contests organised on the occasion.

Dr. C.G. Poornima Priyadarshini, Scientist, CSIR-CFTRI, Mysuru, was the chief guest. Prof. M.J. Sampath Kumar, Chairman, IETE Mysuru, Dr. S.R. Bhagyashree, Hon. Secretary, IETE Mysuru, S.M. Manjunath, Hon. Treasurer, IETE Mysuru Centre and all the office-bearers of IETE Mysuru were present.

Technical Quiz: Rekha and Yashaswini of ATME – first place; M.K. Indhushree and R. Bhoomika, Dept. of TCE, GSSSIETW – second place.
