Mysuru: Mysore West Lions Sevaniketan School, Gokulam, recently hosted the Inter-School Patriotic Songs Singing Competition with enthusiastic participation from 23 schools across the city.

Ln. Dr. Chethan, President of the School, presided. Dr. Roopa Karumbaiah, Principal, welcomed. Meera Urs and Bhagya were the juries of the competition.

Sadvidya High School, Narayana Shastri Road, emerged as the winners while Manasarovar Pushkarini  Vidyashrama secured the first runner-up position. Sharada Public School bagged the second runner-up position and Ranga Rao Memorial School received the consolation prize.

The event showcased the patriotic fervour, musical talent and cultural values of young students.
