Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru Book Clubs-2015 had organised ‘Mindfest,’ the College Quiz Extravaganza featuring an intellectually stimulating competition that captivated participants and audience alike. The event was held at S.P. Bhat Hall, Institution of Engineers-India (IEI), JLB Road, on Mar. 16.

Mysuru Book Clubs-2015 Founder-Chairperson Shubha Sanjay Urs briefed the students about the Mindfest and welcomed the gathering. Berty Ashley and Abhishek Veeraghavan were the Quiz Masters.

The quiz witnessed good competition and camaraderie among talented minds, with participants from various educational institutions showcasing their knowledge and  quick thinking.

The prize-winners are as follows: 1st place – Arush Sudan, Krishna Rajmohan and Yashvardhan Gaur (JSS Medical College); 2nd place: G. Anurag, Ninaad A. Kaller (SJCE) & Y.M. Vishwas (Government PU College); 3rd place: D.C. Chethan, K.V. Aabha Unni & Aneesh R. Bhat (Yuvaraja’s College, Mysuru); Consolation prizes – Sudhay, Sona and Vaidehi (JSS Medical College); M.K. Amogh Vedanth Raay, M.S. Harsha Kumar & Syed Mohammad Muzakkir (Various Institutions); Karthik, Shreyas (NIE) & Advith (SJCE); Manan Bajaj & Nandini (JSS Medical College).

Anand Venkataraman, an Engineer from USA, who was the chief guest on the occasion, distributed the prizes to the winners. The event was judged by Meenu Brouwer and Kusuma Murthy.

Prizes worth Rs. 50,000 was given away to winners. Audience prizes, book vouchers and food vouchers were won both by the participants and the audience.
