Winners of State-level Nadakishorotsava-2019

Mysuru: Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha, Mysuru, conducted its Annual State-level Competition for youths in Indian Classical Music from Aug.23 to 25 at the Sabha’s G.R. Dasappa Mini Hall.

In all, 10 artistes were short-listed amongst applicants for the finals, which was judged by Vidu. Neeraja Achuta Rao, Vidu. Smitha Sri Kiran and Vidu. Kala R. Koviladi. The following participants have won the prizes:

Yoga Adwaith Veturi, Bengaluru – Karnatak vocal (First Prize “Nadakishora” Title and Bellary M. Venkateshachar Memorial Best Male Vocalist); C.S. Keshava Chandra, Mysuru – Karnatak Flute (Second Prize); Raam Manikanadan, Mysuru – Karnatak vocal (Third Prize); Aishwarya Manikarnike, Bengaluru – Karnatak vocal (Third Prize); C.V. Shruthi, Mysuru (Best Violinist); Malladi Shri Aravind, Mysuru (Best Mridangist).

The prizes will be distributed during the Anniversary celebrations of the Sabha on  Jan.5, 2020.
