Mysuru, Sept. 7 (VNS)- The Mysuru Photo Journalist Association had organised State-level News Photography Contest as part of Dasara -2025 recently.

The competition was also dedicated to late senior photo-journalist Nethra Raju.

The prizes to winners will be distributed by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah after the culmination of this year’s Dasara festival. Cash prize of Rs. 25,000 will be given to the first prize winner, Rs. 15,000 for second prize, Rs. 10,000 for the third place and Rs. 1,000 each for three consolation prizes. Also, a cash prize of Rs. 15,000 will be given to the winner of Nethra Raju Memorial Prize.

The winners are: 1st prize – B. Satish (News Trail, Bengaluru), 2nd – M.S. Manjunath (Prajavani, Bengaluru), 3rd – P. Ranju (Prajavani & Deccan Herald, Bengaluru); Consolation prizes – H. Fakruddin (Prajavani, Mangaluru), S. Charan (Suddhi Sanje) & Indrakumar Dastanavar (Halli Sandesha, Bagalkot)

Nethra Raju Memorial Prize: Sudhindra Kulkarni (Vijaya Karnataka, Vijayapura).
