Wins 5th edition of GEC Open Global Golf Tour

Mukkatira Neeharika Thangamma, a II PUC (PCMB) student of SVEI College, Vijayanagar, Mysuru, participated in the 5th edition of GEC Open Global Golf Tour at the Dubai Corporate Golf World Final 2018-19.

She played over two days on Mar.17 and 18, as one of the national qualifying winners from India against other winners from 34 countries at Jumeirah Golf Estates – Earth and Fire Course.

She emerged winner of the tournament with Ankit Mohindra (India) followed by Benga & Phum Khetkham from Thailand and Fauvel Pierre Gulheim                    from Mauritius.

Neeharika Thangamma is the daughter of Muthanna (Sr. Manager with Infosys Ltd., Mysuru) and Kavery (Lecturer at Sapient College, Mysuru).

Neeharika is granddaughter of Mukkatira Ganapathy & Janaki (Gummatira) and Guddanda Nanda Ganapathy & Kanthy. Neeharika’s brother Neerav Aiyappa’s proposal of project on Space Hotel was accepted by both National Space Society & NASA of USA.
