Wins AITA Tourney

Aadya Madhu Bhat, a student of NPS School in city, has won the U-14 Lawn Tennis AITA (All India Tennis Association) Tournament conducted at Tennis Temple Academy in Bengaluru from July 6 to 8.

In finals, she defeated Monika Tyagaraj from Bengaluru (6-4, 6-2) to clinch the title. Earlier in semifinals, she defeated Dish Santhosh (9-3) and in quarter finals, she beat Jennifer Chakko (8-3). Aadya is trained at Mysore Tennis Club in city.
