Mysore/Mysuru: Malavika Padinhattayil, a Class 10 student of Excel Public School, Mysuru, has secured first prize in the National-level Hindi Story Writing Competition (14-18 age group), organised by the National Mission for Clean Ganga, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, in collaboration with Kalantar Art Trust, New Delhi.

Malavika’s story was based on the bond of friendship between a child living in an orphanage and a child living with parents.
