Mysuru: Mysuru’s Prasiddhi Bhat with 5.5 points from six rounds clinched the title in the U-13 section of the Winter Chess Festival for Children – 2019 conducted jointly by Rotary Mysore School and Mysore Chess Centre here recently.

Final Placing (Six rounds)

U-13: 1. Prasiddhi Bhat (5.5), 2. M.A. Akash (4.5-23.5), 3. M.G. Prameeth (4.5-21.5), 4. S.Y. Yashwanth (4.5-18.5), 5. M.N. Spurthi (4-19.5).

U-11: 1. N.C. Gambhir (6), 2. Sharadhi Shastry (5-21.5), 3. P. Karthik (5-19.5), 4. D.S. Nagachiranth (4.5-23), 5. K.A. Karthik Shetty (4-22.5).

U-9: 1. Ashith Kumar Gowda (5-24.5), 2. R. Hruthvick (5-23), 3. Shreyas K. Patil (5-25), 4. Nivaan Raghavendra (5-20), 5. L. Vaishnavi (4.5-19).
