Sir,
The Wodeyar Express running between Bengaluru City Junction (SBC) and Mysuru Junction (MYS) has been a popular train for decades and is serving with limited stops at a reasonable ticket price. This train now makes only 2 trips whereas the Chamundi Express makes 4 trips.
Also, the train covers the distance in 2 hours, unnecessarily delayed at the home signals to make it 2 hours 30 minutes. Please make it efficient to cover in 2 hours helping passengers.
Also start a morning trip at 7.25 am to reach KSR by 9.25 am.
In return journey, make it to leave at 9.50 am to reach Mysuru at 11.50 am. Again leave Mysuru at 12.20 pm to reach KSR at 2.20 pm and leave at current afternoon departure time. Timings of weekly special trains and Kochuveli trains need to be altered. Kochuveli Express if changed at 2.20 pm will be beneficial.
Long distance trains are not as beneficial as Wodeyar Express due to available seats and punctuality. Hope the Railway authorities concerned will consider the above suggestions.
