Mysuru: Bidiru Sports Club will be organising Wodeyars Cup-2026, a one-day South Indian Open Badminton Tournament at Friends Sports Zone in K.C. Layout tomorrow (Aug. 2).

The tournament will be held in doubles category — Open Doubles and Jumbled 65+ doubles.  The organisers have announced a total cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh for the tournament — Rs. 25,000 for winners in open doubles event, Rs 15,000 for runners, Rs. 5,000 for semifinalists and Rs. 2,500    for quarterfinalists.

Meanwhile, winners in open jumbled 65+ doubles event will be awarded Rs. 15,000 cash prize, Rs. 10,000 for runners, Rs. 3,000 for semifinalists and Rs. 1,000 for the quarterfinalists.
