Woman chain snatcher nabbed at City Bus Stand

Mysore/Mysuru: A Tamil Nadu-based woman chain snatcher, who had snatched a gold chain of a woman at City Bus Stand and was fleeing, was nabbed by the public and handed over to Devaraja Police for further action.

The woman chain snatcher who was nabbed is Gayathri.

On June 1, one Sakamma, a resident of Kamanakerehundi, who had come to city, was boarding the city bus to her place, when Gayathri yanked off Sakamma’s gold chain.

Sakamma immediately screamed for help which attracted the passersby, who chased Gayathri and caught her before handing her over to Devaraja Police along with the gold chain.

Devaraja Police, who registered a case, produced her before a Court, which remanded her to judicial custody.
