Woman conducts last rites of husband after voting

Mysuru: Not willing to let go the opportunity for exercise of franchise inspite of tragic circumstances, a woman, who lost her husband on Thursday morning, conducted his last rites after casting her vote along with eleven other family members at a polling booth in city yesterday.

Srinivas, a resident of JP Nagar passed away on Thursday morning. Braving the tragedy that stuck her, deceased Srinivas’ wife Rajeshwari went along with her family members and cast her vote at a polling booth after which the last rites of Srinivas was conducted, it is learnt.
