Woman dies of heart attack while watching TV

Mysore/Mysuru: A woman, who was watching a programme on TV at her house on Ramanuja Road, 15th Cross, collapsed and breathed her last after suffering from a massive heart attack yesterday morning.

The deceased is Rangalakshmi (57), wife of retired Health Inspector Nanjappa Gowda of the Health Department.

She leaves behind her husband, three sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

A native of Saragur in H.D. Kote taluk, she was residing with her husband on Ramanuja Road. Yesterday morning, Rangalakshmi was watching TV, when she suffered a massive heart attack, it is learnt. Though she was rushed to a hospital by her family, the doctors declared her brought dead.

Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill this morning, according to family sources.
