Mysuru: Dejected over her illness which did not get cured despite various treatments, a 28-year-old  woman committed suicide by hanging self at her residence here on Saturday afternoon.

The deceased woman has been identified as Radhika, daughter of Ravikumar, a resident of Dasanakoppal near here.

Radhika, was suffering from severe stomach ache since a few days and despite providing treatment, the illness was not cured.

Depressed over this, Radhika is said to have taken the extreme step on Saturday afternoon, when the family members    were away.

Jayapura Police have registered a case in this regard.
