Woman held for lifting gold chains in Sub-Urban Bus Stand

2 gold mangalya chains worth Rs. 3.90 lakh recovered

Mysuru: Lashkar Police, on Dec. 3, have arrested a woman who was moving around in a suspicious manner at KSRTC Sub-Urban Bus Stand.

During interrogation, the woman is said to have confessed of lifting gold mangalya chains from women passengers at Sub-Urban Bus Stand and based on the information provided by the accused, the Police have recovered two gold mangalya chains weighing 56 grams and worth Rs. 3.90 lakh from her.

Deputy Commissioner Of Police (DCP) – Crime and Traffic S. Jahnavi and Devaraja Sub-Division ACP S. Shanthamallappa, guided Lashkar Inspector K.R. Prasad, Sub-Inspectors M. Radha and Anilkumar Vannur, ASI Lokesh and staff Suresh, Ravikumar, Girish, Manjunath, Chowdappa Pasigar, Abdul Rehman, Chikkannaswamy and Ashwini Halawara in the nabbing and recovery operation.
