Mysuru: Alleging dowry harassment and assault on her and her children, a woman has lodged a complaint against her husband at Women’s Police Station in city.

While the woman has been identified as Roopa, her husband has been identified as Shivakumar, a resident of Raghavendranagar in city.

In her complaint, Roopa has stated that she got married to Shivakumar in 2008 and has two children. But since few days, Shivakumar, who used to come home drunk, began to harass her for dowry and used to assault her and her children. Fed up with her husband’s behaviour, Roopa has lodged a complaint with the Police, who are investigating.
