Mysuru: A woman has lost her 20-gram two-strand gold chain at Sub-urban Bus Stand on July 26.
The woman, who lost her valuable, is Ramamani, a retired teacher from K.R. Nagar.
On July 26, Ramamani had come to Mysuru to go to Chamundeshwari Temple atop Chamundi Hill. As she had come in a bus, she had removed the gold chain she was wearing, kept in a purse and placed it inside her vanity bag. After having the darshan of the presiding deity at the Hill Temple, Ramamani came to Sub-urban Bus Stand at about 10 am to board a bus to K.R. Nagar. After boarding the bus to K.R. Nagar, she opened her vanity bag to take out her ID Card only to find the purse in which she had kept her gold chain missing.
As she informed her family members lately, the complaint was lodged late. She suspects that someone may have lifted the purse in the rush while she was boarding or while alighting from the bus. A case has been registered and Police are investigating.
