Woman loses gold jewellery, cash in city bus

Mysuru: Miscreants have stolen gold jewellery and cash kept in a vanity bag of a woman who was travelling in a city bus from Ramakrishnanagar to City Bus Stand.

The victim is Geetha Shekar, a resident of Ramakrishnanagar.

On Oct.22 morning, Geetha boarded a city bus and alighted at the City Bus Stand. As there was heavy rush of passengers in the bus, Geetha checked her vanity bag only to find the gold ornaments worth about Rs.36,000 and Rs.12,000 cash kept in the vanity missing.

A case has been registered at Devaraja Police Station in this regard.
